Job summary

Leidos is seeking a hands-on Equipment Support role to assist in the delivery and maintenance of training programs. You will handle equipment, PPE, and sanitation, while coordinating with instructors and teams to ensure smooth course execution.

Applicants must be able to lift heavy items, possess a valid driver's license, and complete security checks, including FEMA/background verifications. This is a field-oriented position with limited travel and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, turn, and carry heavy equipment up to 60 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with people at different levels and as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and pass pre-placement screenings.
• FEMA background/security checks and federal compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Supports training delivery by maintaining training equipment and supplies.
• Ensures proper sanitation in maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Transports training equipment and PPE as required.
• Assists with setup and recovery of equipment at venues.
• Maintains records of defective equipment and processes disposition.
• Coordinates with instructors, subcontractors, and team leads to ensure course delivery.
• Interacts daily with supervisor, peers, and customers.
• Willingness to travel less than 10% for job requirements.
• Operates non-CDL government vehicles and adheres to safety procedures.
