Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Professional to support the FAA EOSH Programs in the Eastern Service Area. The role involves multi-faceted EOSH program support, reporting, sampling, and training, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities include writing reports with tight deadlines, tower access and fall protection training, IAQ, asbestos, lead, and drinking water sampling, and providing technical EOSH training to employees and management.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience in environmental, health and safety programs.
• Proven experience with EOSH field equipment (e.g., PID, XRF, Dosimeter).
• Experience obtaining and developing asbestos, IAQ, and drinking water samples and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental and safety support for EOSH Programs (IAQ, Asbestos, Lead, Mold, Chemical Management, etc.).
• Conduct site inspections, surveys, and submit technical reports.
• Manage inspections using electronic data and SharePoint/KSN systems.
• Research and interpret federal, state, local, and FAA EOSH regulations.
• Provide comprehensive EOSH training and excellent customer service.
