Job summary

Leidos' COBRA Training Support Specialist supports the CDP Training and Delivery Services program in Anniston, Alabama, delivering hands-on training for state and local responders in CBRNE, mass casualty, and hazardous materials scenarios. You will assist course managers and instructors, perform training area setup and recovery, and support PPE donning and doffing during live agent training.

Requirements: GED or high school diploma; ability to lift 50+ pounds; U.S.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull over 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear PPE and perform operational tasks.
• Good physical fitness to perform duties.
• Ability to apply hazardous materials principles in life-threatening scenarios.
• Ability to communicate orally to conduct training.
• Ability to operate standard CBRN/HAZMAT equipment.
• U.S. citizenship required per Federal Contract Regulations.
• Accepted government-issued ID compliant with Real ID Act.
• Background check and related screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Assist course managers, resident instructors, sub-contractors, and support staff assigned to Resident Training.
• Perform training area setup and recovery procedures for classroom and live agent training facility.
• Support instructional staff during donning and doffing instruction for PPE.
• Perform donning and doffing procedure at the operational level during multi task training.
• Prepare and fit PPE worn by responders in live agent training.
• Comply with regulations, guidance, and supervisor instructions for entries into the COBRATF environment.
• Actively seek cross-training opportunities to maximize training experience for student responders.
• Other duties as assigned.
