Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Training Devices Systems Engineering Manager 2 to lead the Training Devices IPT in Roy, UT. You will translate requirements into hardware specs, manage verification and validation, and guide a multidisciplinary team through design, build, test, and delivery of training devices for Sentinel.

You will interface with the Air Force and NG leaders, prepare data packages, and manage program milestones with EVM and CAM practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field with 8 years related experience, or 6 years with a Master’s.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance; Top Secret and SAP/PAR possible.
• Experience on a development program such as ICBM new, modification or development.
• Experience in Trainer solutions, MBSE, and budget management as a CAM.

Responsibilities

• Translate user/mission requirements into hardware technical specifications.
• Manage requirements traceability, verification, and validation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain vision for technical direction aligning IPT priorities with tasks.
• Lead multidisciplinary team through design, build, test and delivery of training devices.
• Interface with the Air Force customer and NG leaders; prepare data packages.
