Northrop Grumman Corp. in Roy, Utah seeks a senior systems engineer to translate requirements into hardware specs and lead a multidisciplinary IPT through design, build, test and delivery of training devices.

You will interface with the Air Force and NG leaders, manage budgets, and deliver formal data packages. Requires a STEM degree with extensive program experience and security clearances. Relocation may be available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of related experience, or 6 years with Masters.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain initial Top Secret Clearance, SAP/PAR.
Experience on a development program such as ICBM development or modification.
Experience in trainer solutions, requirements verification, MBSE, and CAM budget management.

Responsibilities

Translate requirements into hardware technical specifications.
Support requirements traceability, verification, and validation across the lifecycle.
Establish vision for technical direction to align tasking among the IPT.
Lead multidisciplinary team through design, build, test and delivery of training devices.
Interface with the Air Force customer and Northrop Grumman leaders.
Prepare and deliver data packages: briefings, status reports, presentations.
Manage program with EVM, CAM, milestones, risks, and budgets.
