Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to lead training and development initiatives for CSN Licensees and corporate staff. You will design end-to-end eLearning with Articulate Rise or Storyline, build LMS courses, and ensure high-quality delivery.

You will assess needs, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement measures of program effectiveness while managing travel up to 15%. Fluency in English and French is a plus.

Qualifications

• A university designation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years in instructional design, eLearning development or learning technology.
• Hands-on authoring experience with Articulate Rise and/or Storyline.
• Experience with video tools such as Synthesia, Camtasia, Vyond, or equivalent.
• LMS administration experience with Absorb, Docebo, Cornerstone, or similar, including configuring courses, enrolments, automation, and reporting.
• Experience developing or administering regulated/compliance training is considered an asset.
• Bilingual in English and French considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Required travel up to 15%, overnight stays may be required.
• Valid driver's license and good standing.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of training and development for CSN Licensees and CSN Corporate Staff.
• Assist with the Training and Development Plan to help corporate staff and CSN Centres grow and perform.
• Build eLearning modules end-to-end in Articulate Rise or comparable tools, including planning, scripting, design, and publishing.
• Monitor learning experience quality, usability, understanding, and participant engagement.
• Assess learning delivery methods including e-learning, remote learning, train‑the‑trainer, and web‑based learning.
• Identify learner challenges and change management barriers and recommend strategies.
• Design and implement methods to measure program effectiveness.
• Participate in training needs assessments with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and industry training providers.
• Administer the LMS, including course builds and versioning, enrolment rules and automation, user provisioning, troubleshooting, and HRIS integration touchpoints.
• Track planned program costs and gather information demonstrating training program value.
• Share best practices in training design, delivery, innovation, and change management.
