Job summary

Jobtailor in Denver, CO seeks an experienced Training and Learning Specialist to develop and administer comprehensive training programs and materials. You will design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and multimedia learning experiences while coordinating onboarding for new hires.

The role requires leadership in instructional design, LMS management, and collaboration with HR partners to align content with organizational goals and customer service objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and delivering instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and multimedia training.
• Experience managing Learning Management Systems and ensuring compliance.
• Strong instructional design, content creation, and facilitation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop or source learning solutions addressing skill gaps
• Manage special projects and committees as needed
• Liaise with training stakeholders to ensure standardization and consistency
• Serve as an internal training consultant

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous human resources experience strongly preferred, with a focus on learning & development
• Experience in training content creation strongly preferred
• Previous experience with Learning Management Systems strongly preferred
• Competent in interpersonal communications, collaboration, critical-thinking and problem solving
• Moderate to advanced computer application user skills, including database, spreadsheet applications and PowerPoint presentations
• Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Proven ability in the development and implementation of training solutions
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects and priorities
• Strong instructional and facilitation skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with persons at all organizational levels
• Self-directed and independent work habits
• Ability to handle objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently
• Occasional early mornings or weekend work may be required
• Some overnight travel, less than 20%, may be required
