Job summary

WPS in Torrance, CA is seeking a detail-driven Professional Development & Training Representative to support live workshops, webinars, and continuing education programs, handling logistics, materials, and customer communications. You will process orders, manage registrations, coordinate instructor travel, ship course materials, ensure CE compliance, and assist with budgeting under the PD&T Supervisor.

This is a full-time, non-exempt role with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and Zoom; familiarity with order management or LMS is a plus.
• Detail oriented and organized; proficient at clerical tasks and data entry.
• Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and interpersonal warmth.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Process orders for professional development products, including course registrations, payment, database entry, and email/phone communication with customers.
• Confirm course requirements, prerequisites, attendance, and post-course submissions.
• Process customer cancellations, returns, and transfers.
• Provide accurate documentation to accounting.
• Provide customer service via email and phone.
