Job summary

Priority Health is seeking a Training Designer to develop Epic-focused training and related Health Systems curricula. You will partner with training teams, SMEs, and customers to create audience-specific content and manage both virtual and classroom delivery.

You will design, deliver, and evaluate training, coordinate registrations, and act as the LMS administrator, supporting Epic implementations and upgrades within a hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• CRT- EPIC Tapestry Principal Trainer - within 180 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Organize and report on virtual and classroom training registration and completion.
• Develop audience-specific training materials with SME and customers.
• Design, write, update, and test computer-based training modules.
• Serve as the team learning management system administrator.
• Align training with corporate mission, values, strategy and culture.
• Develop course content, materials, and presentations; evaluate training effectiveness.
• Pursue process and quality improvements and support new services in the area.

This is a hybrid position. Weekly onsite presence may be required, along with occasional travel to other locations within the state and weekend support to support Epic implementation or major upgrades. We are seeking individuals who are interested in building long-term knowledge and supporting the organization's ongoing Epic initiatives. Join Priority Health as a Training Designer, where you’ll collaborate with training teams, subject matter experts, and customers to create engaging, audience-specific learning experiences focused on Epic and other Health Systems. You’ll design, deliver, and evaluate both traditional and computer-based training, manage virtual and classroom training logistics, and serve as a learning management system administrator. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to major initiatives, including Epic implementation, while driving process improvements and supporting organizational excellence.

Job Summary

In collaboration with others, will be responsible for developing multi-media training solutions with a primary focus on Epic and other Health Systems. Will partner with training team members, subject matter experts, and customers to develop audience-specific training, including traditional and computer-based curriculum materials. With assistance and in collaboration with leadership will be accountable for organizing and reporting on virtual and classroom training registration and completion. In collaboration with others, serve as team learning management system administrator.

Essential Functions

• With assistance and in collaboration with leadership, will be accountable for organizing and reporting on virtual and classroom training registration and completion.
• Will partner with training team members, subject matter experts, and customers to develop audience-specific training, including traditional and computer-based curriculum materials.
• Participate in developing training program delivery strategies. Designs, writes, updates, and tests computer-based training modules.
• In collaboration with others, will serve as the team learning management system administrator.

• In collaboration with others, plans and develops course or training program content, curriculum, pamphlets, and presentations for appropriate area. Evaluates the effectiveness of training and makes modifications to course materials and maintains orientation/in-service records, course completions, and attendance logs.
• In collaboration with others, works to ensure that processes and services are continuously monitored for quality, cost effectiveness, and efficiency. Engages in process and quality improvement activities. Makes and implements recommendations to improve operational efficiency and to implement new services for areas of responsibility.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization. With guidance from leadership, provides information to senior levels of management on the implication of policies and procedures being formulated and recommends specific action.
• Occasional weekend support and daytime or overnight travel may be required.
