Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking a Training Coordinator to schedule and support pilot training at our headquarters in St. George, UT. This fast-paced role requires multitasking, critical thinking, and strong communication with instructors and flight operations teams.

You'll manage training schedules, coordinate travel and lodging, track progress in Excel, and ensure compliance with FAA policies. No prior experience needed for on‑the‑job training, with growth opportunities and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills, written and verbal.
• Some flexibility in schedule to assist and work overtime to meet deadlines.
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus and detail.
• Self-starter and motivated team player.
• Critical thinking skills for adapting to changing environments and processes.
• Work well with others as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate training of our pilots and instructors.
• Build training schedules for tracking.
• Classroom instruction coordination and training devices handling.
• Track progress and reschedule classes/students/sessions as needed.
• Verify instructor qualifications for scheduled sessions.
• Make necessary travel/lodging arrangements.
• Schedule, coordinate, and pre-assign other training related assignments as necessary.
• Maintain excellent communication with Instructors, Pilot Records, as well as Flight Operations Managers and Supervisors.
• Maintain knowledge of all department, company, and FAA policies.
• Maintain reports as necessary in Excel and other programs.
