Job summary

Technology Transfer Services seeks a Training Coordinator to support the development of a skilled, safety-conscious workforce in our electronics manufacturing environment.

You will coordinate onboarding and ongoing upskilling, align training with IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, and OSHA standards, and maintain comprehensive training records in an LMS. Collaboration with production, engineering, and HR is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a training or HR role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and training record systems (e.g., LMS, ERP).
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, including SMT, assembly, soldering, and quality inspection.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver onboarding programs for new hires, covering company policies, ESD safety, cleanroom procedures, and basic equipment training.
• Partner with production, engineering, quality, and HR teams to assess skill gaps and develop role-specific training plans.
• Create, schedule, and track training programs for SMT, PCB assembly, soldering, inspection, and other technical roles.
• Ensure all training complies with IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, and OSHA.
• Maintain auditable records of training completions, certifications, and skill matrices in an LMS or similar platform.
• Organize recertifications and recurring compliance training (e.g., ESD handling, quality inspections, safety).
• Develop and update training content including work instructions, visual aids, videos, and eLearning modules.
• Support training for new equipment, software, or process changes with engineering and vendors.
• Conduct regular training effectiveness assessments using feedback, testing, and supervisor input.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing accurate training documentation and reports.
