Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Training Coordinator to develop training materials and coordinate logistics for training activities. Job description

Must have held current position in CPS for 6 months, meet the qualifications for the position, and not currently be on a Performance Improvement Plan.

About the Role

  1. Create and develop weekly training deliverables in the form of standard work & SWI documents, facilitated courses, and videos.
  2. Coordinate, track, and report on logistics related to training activities.
  3. Understand, train, and sustain lean practices.
  4. Spend approximately 20% of their time operating equipment or performing other tasks.
  5. Investigate defects in system transaction entry and product quality, and follow up with employees and management as needed.
  6. Identify and resolve day-to-day administrative technical problems.
  7. Prioritize and complete multiple tasks with minimal management oversight.
  8. Make decisions that impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the department’s daily operations.

About You

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Enterprise resource planning system experience (e.g., SAP).
  • Knowledge of Lean practices in a related production and materials management environment.
  • Experience in training and development of training tools.
  • Work with peers, staff members, and management on cross-departmental projects.
  • Represent TR and create relationships with vendors supporting production and training.
  • Frequent contact with internal departments.
  • Participated in Lean projects.
