Must have held current position in CPS for 6 months, meet the qualifications for the position, and not currently be on a Performance Improvement Plan.
About the Role
- Create and develop weekly training deliverables in the form of standard work & SWI documents, facilitated courses, and videos.
- Coordinate, track, and report on logistics related to training activities.
- Understand, train, and sustain lean practices.
- Spend approximately 20% of their time operating equipment or performing other tasks.
- Investigate defects in system transaction entry and product quality, and follow up with employees and management as needed.
- Identify and resolve day-to-day administrative technical problems.
- Prioritize and complete multiple tasks with minimal management oversight.
- Make decisions that impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the department’s daily operations.
About You
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Enterprise resource planning system experience (e.g., SAP).
- Knowledge of Lean practices in a related production and materials management environment.
- Experience in training and development of training tools.
- Work with peers, staff members, and management on cross-departmental projects.
- Represent TR and create relationships with vendors supporting production and training.
- Frequent contact with internal departments.
- Participated in Lean projects.
