Job description

Training Coordinator

Tower Loan is seeking a full-time Training Coordinator to join the Training team.

This position is the primary point of contact for all company-wide training event design, development, and facilitation.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping our team in developing others to their full potential and eager to expand their own knowledge and experience in training.

Responsibility Summary:

  • Organize and coordinate training activities for employees.
  • Plan and organize training meetings for the company.
  • Responsible for assisting with the updating of written training material and related tests.
  • Choosing appropriate training methods (virtual, on the job training, professional development classes, etc.)
  • Develop, track, and manage reports on training outcomes and completed training throughout the company.
  • Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials.
  • Proactively handle arising issues and troubleshoot emerging problems for events and training software issues.
  • Use known educational principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership

Minimal Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of experience working in an office setting.
  • One (1) year of experience working with databases, pull reporting and creating company correspondence.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines

* Employment contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and credit check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution
  • Experience using Training Design and Development tools to implement training content
  • Experience in planning and implementing train the trainer facilitation
  • Proven success in improving employee knowledge and engagement

*This position is located in Flowood, MS. The employee will report daily to our corporate location.*
