Job description

  • Act as the week-one training liaison and communicate with trainees before travel to the Training Center
  • Present live, in-person and virtual instruction for employees at all organizational levels
  • Lead onboarding, policy-update, professional-development, and continued-learning training
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive business continuity plan for the training department
  • Document essential processes, procedures, and resources for business continuity
  • Manage and schedule new-hire check-ins during weeks 1-4 and communicate gathered data to the training team
  • Monitor and track attendance of new-hire check-ins
  • Communicate webinar schedules and workshops to employees
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and training impact on employee skills and KPIs
  • Contribute to course development and training program updates
  • Review and provide feedback on course materials with the Learning Content Designer
  • Collaborate with managers, subject matter experts, and the Training Team to identify development opportunities
  • Maintain training curriculum and documents on the Training Center SharePoint site
  • Promote training opportunities through presentations and emails
  • Attend weekly Training department and cross-functional meetings
  • Report daily to the Training Manager and indirectly to the Director of Learning and Development
  • Transport trainees between the Training Center and airport using a company vehicle
  • Book and coordinate trainee travel arrangements
  • Coordinate onboarding and training continuity between in-person and field phases
  • Maintain training equipment, supplies, inventories, petty cash, and trainee per diem expenses
  • Perform credit-card and travel reconciliations
  • Manage scheduling logistics, vendor coordination, department support requests, Amazon ordering, alarm-code distribution, uniform ordering, and travel bookings
  • Provide scheduling, calendar, meeting, logistical, and vendor-record support
  • Communicate training updates and logistics to trainees and stakeholders
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize trainee feedback for continuous improvement
  • Maintain a professional classroom presence and perform other assigned duties and special projects
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience presenting or instructing in front of a live group required
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups of all sizes, both in person and on camera in virtual sessions, required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Intermediate computer skills required
  • General office and telephone skills required
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint required
  • Adult education experience preferred
  • Experience facilitating virtual instruction using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar preferred
  • High-school diploma or GED required
  • Strong public speaking and group facilitation skills, in person and virtual
  • Ability to read an audience and adjust delivery in real time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent classroom organization, planning, and time-management skills
  • Ability to write detailed lesson plans
  • Ability to provide constructive, corrective feedback in a training setting
  • Ability to foster a collaborative team culture amongst each training cohort
  • Goal-oriented and able to work independently
  • Adaptable to various work settings and interpersonal dynamics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to frequently stand and walk up to 70% of the time
  • Ability to frequently bend, stand, stoop, and walk while training new employees
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally ascend and descend stairways
  • Must pass a post-offer, pre-hire background screening including a multi-state criminal check and DMV records
