Job summary

OMF (U.S.) is seeking a Training Coordinator to create and lead a team delivering resourcing, opportunities, and support for professional growth in U.S. missions. You will work with team leaders to ensure individual development plans and provide training for teams and partners across American churches.

The role emphasizes developing training programs for various ministry stages, improving program quality, and engaging with international training communities to meet training goals.

• Ability to work within an international, interdenominational organization.
• Teachable spirit and flexible attitude.
• Experience with multi-cultural teams and organizations preferred.
• Passion for objective-focused learning and ability to equip others with these skills.
• Strong ability to lead through influence and to utilize team gifts in training.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with OMF’s international training programs or willingness to learn about them.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive training plan for the U.S. team.
• Ensure every member has an individualized development plan.
• Collaborate with team leaders on professional development for their teams.
• Communicate with the U.S. team about relevant OMF trainings.
• Identify needed workshops and coordinate facilitators accordingly.
• Develop and lead OMF (U.S.) training programs for each ministry stage.
• Improve training programs with clear objectives and evaluation processes.
• Coordinate with internal and external training program teams to define outcomes.
