Job Summary
The Quality Supervisor oversees a team of Quality Training Specialists to execute activities required to meet IES training and quality standards. The role supports all business units, establishing and maintaining quality procedures, training staff, analyzing performance data, and driving continuous improvement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Quality Manager to establish the company's quality procedures, standards, and specifications across all business units.
- Define and train quality procedures to the team and operations staff.
- Review and validate reports produced by the team to ensure customer and manufacturer specifications are met.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Set up and maintain controls, documentation procedures, and data collection systems.
- Generate performance reports, analyze trends, and recommend changes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement approved changes.
- Monitor team effectiveness and serve as a customer advocate.
- Mentor team members toward professional and personal goal attainment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years training experience or related role.
- Minimum of 5 years project management experience in telecommunications, electrical, or a related technical/construction field.
- Preferred certification: BICSI Trainer; BICSI Technician also acceptable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management, safety training, and contract administration.
- Strong analytical skills with proficient use of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
- Working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory (preferred).
- Ability to travel 50% of the time within branch and/or regional territories.

- Team leader with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work a non-standard schedule to provide training.
- Ability to climb ladders, use hand and power tools, and lift 50 pounds.
- Self-motivated, positive approach, professional, and capable of leading others on projects.
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and effective oral presentation skills.
- Read, write, and interpret blueprints, specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.
- Must possess minimum driving standards and a valid driver's license.
Compensation
USD $80.00 - $100.00 per year.
