Job Summary
The Quality Supervisor oversees a team of Quality Training Specialists to execute activities required to meet IES training and quality standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Quality Manager to establish company quality procedures, standards, and specifications for all business units.
- Define and train quality procedures to the team and operations staff.
- Review reports prepared by the team to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Ensure that manufacturers’ specifications are met.
- Proactively look for ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
- Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing data and recommendations.
- Make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.
- Use relevant quality tools to help managers and other staff understand how to improve the business.
- Monitor the team to confirm we are working as effectively as possible.
- Serve as a customer advocate.
- Mentor team members to achieve professional and personal goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation: Minimum USD $110,000 per year; maximum USD $135,000 per hour.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of training experience or a related role.
- Minimum of five (5) years of project‑management experience in telecommunications, electrical or a related technical or construction field.
- Preferred BICSI trainer certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management, safety training, and contract administration.
- Working knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and their applications.
- Knowledge of numerical and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project).
- Working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory practice (preferred).
- Experience with construction processes such as bid process, project management, delegation, and financial aspects.
- Ability to lead and work as part of a team.
- Skill in determining the kind of tools and equipment needed for the job.
- Licensing: BICSI Technician certification preferred.
- Willful ability to travel within branch and regional territories as needed (estimated 50% travel).

- Must be able to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.
- Regular attendance is mandatory; non‑standard work schedule may be required.
- Must meet company minimum driving standards.
