Job summary

Randstad USA in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Professional Development & Training Manager to oversee day-to-day staff education, mandatory certifications, and growth initiatives. You will design and facilitate training for Direct Support Professionals and interdisciplinary staff, ensuring full regulatory compliance and fostering professional growth across divisions.

The role is hybrid (2 days on-site) with daytime hours, paying $30–$34 per hour.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in professional development/training
• Experience delivering onboarding and mandatory compliance trainings
• Ability to manage budgets, tracking, and reporting of training metrics

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, new hire orientation, and mandatory compliance trainings (First Aid/CPR, HR policies, harassment, diversity & inclusion)
• Maintain training database to track certifications and deadlines
• Create, update, and organize training materials and handbooks
• Partner with HR to develop employee growth strategies and career paths
• Coordinate training logistics and market classes via corporate channels
• Track training expenditures and prepare performance reports for leadership

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, dependable Professional Development & Training Manager to oversee day-to-day staff education, mandatory compliance certifications, and employee growth initiatives. In this role, you will design and facilitate training programs for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and interdisciplinary staff, ensuring full regulatory compliance and fostering professional growth across all divisions.

salary: $30 - $34 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Program Delivery & Facilitation: Lead dynamic onboarding, new hire orientation, and mandatory compliance trainings (e.g., First Aid/CPR, HR policies, sexual harassment, diversity & inclusion).
• Compliance & Tracking: Manage, update, and maintain the internal training database to track staff completions, certifications, and upcoming compliance deadlines.
• Curriculum & Materials: Prepare, update, and organize high-quality training presentations, participant handbooks, and administrative documentation.
• Career Development: Collaborate with HR leadership to establish employee growth strategies, career pathing, and skill-building opportunities.
• Logistics & Event Coordination: Organize presentation equipment, room setups, schedule sessions, and market upcoming classes across corporate communication channels.
• Budgeting & Reporting: Track training expenditures and generate regular effectiveness and usage metrics for executive leadership.
