Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Trainer Production 4 for our ASTAR organization in Iuka, MS. You will provide technical training across assembly and production areas, supporting the development and implementation of new training programs and processes. The role involves maintaining training rosters and certifications, with potential overtime to meet business needs.

A Secret clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is necessary for eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 years of manufacturing or related experience.
• Strong oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work any shift including extended hours and overtime to meet business needs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance and Special Program Access.
• U.S. Citizenship required for clearance.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical documents, drawings, and procedures.
• Must perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks as described in the job.
• Ability to train technicians and teams in complex composite structures certification.
• Ability to develop, present, teach, and mentor technicians on modern complex composite processes.
• Knowledge of process specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-job training, skills training, and some classroom training in assembly and production areas.
• Develop and implement new training programs and may introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas.
• Maintain rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records and monitor trainees.
