Job summary

Northrop Grumman's ASTAR in Iuka, MS seeks a Trainer Production 4 to lead on-the-job and classroom training for assembly and production teams.

You will participate in developing and implementing new training programs, maintain progress rosters, and certify trainees while applying practical knowledge to real-world manufacturing challenges. A high school diploma and 6+ years of manufacturing experience are required, with ability to obtain U.S. Government Secret clearance and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support on-the-job training, skills training, and some classroom training in assembly and production areas.
• Participates in development and implementation of new training programs.
• Maintains rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records.
• Possesses full knowledge of job and practical applications to typical problems.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and adapt to new lines of work.
• Teach technicians in complex composite structures certification.
• Provide lectures and hands-on instruction on countersinking and drilling.
• Develop and mentor technicians on modern composite processes.
