Job summary

RBC Wealth Management in Austin, TX seeks an Associate Financial Advisor Trainee to complete licensing and gain industry experience toward becoming a Financial Advisor. The role focuses on studying for licensing, passing Series 7/66 and insurance exams, and completing program assignments.

You'll be exposed to RBC policies, wealth management products, and client-facing activities while developing marketing and servicing skills in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to obtain Series 7 and Series 66 and life and health insurance exams within 180 days of beginning employment at RBC.
• Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills; strong drive and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Study for and obtain the Associate Financial Advisor program's required licensing.
• Study and pass Series 7, Series 66, and life and health insurance exams.
• Complete program assignments within curriculum timelines.
• Learn RBC Wealth Management and related policies, products, and services.
• Report activities and results per program requirements.
• Assist with planning, prospecting, and servicing customers.
