Job summary

RBC Wealth Management in Houston is offering an Associate Financial Advisor program to prepare you for a career as a Financial Advisor. You will study for licensing exams, complete program assignments, and learn RBC policies while using Wealth Management tools.

You will also engage in planning, marketing, prospecting, and servicing activities, with coaching from your sales manager and guidance on staying informed about financial news and regulations to advance toward becoming a RBC Financial

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Ability to obtain Series 7, Series 66 and life/health insurance exams within 180 days.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills.
Strong drive and dedication.
Demonstrated ability to develop and promote business.
Ability to make solid decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Study for and obtain the Associate Financial Advisor program's required licensing.
Pass Series 7, Series 66 and life/health insurance exams.
Complete program assignments within curriculum timelines and use RBC tools.
Learn RBC policies and procedures and products/services through scenarios and case studies.
Engage in compliance, planning, marketing, prospecting and servicing activities.
Report activities and results per program requirements and seek coaching from sales manager.
Familiarize yourself with RBC Wealth Management and regulatory rules.
Complete new employee orientation modules and required trainings.
