Job summary

Union Pacific Railroad is seeking Train Crew team members to safely move freight with comprehensive training provided. In the first year, earnings around $80,000 with potential for higher earnings as experience grows, with median earnings over $100,000 after five years of service.

The role includes a 14-week training program, possible road or yard assignments based on seniority, and lodging for road assignments. You may be on-call 24/7 and work across locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean driving record in last 36 months.
• Pass English assessment before interview.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment, locomotives, and rail cars for safety.
• Operate remote control locomotives and manage hand brakes.
• Communicate information to crews and dispatchers by radio/signals.
• Maintain documentation and comply with FRA regulations.
