Union Pacific Railroad is seeking Train Crew team members to move freight safely and on time. No prior railroad experience is required; comprehensive training is provided to start your career in the rail industry.

In the first year, earnings are around $80,000 with potential to exceed $100,000 after five years. The company offers medical, vision, dental, life and disability coverage, plus lodging for certain assignments and a clear path toward engine service with advancing seniority.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record in the past 36 months.
• No past drug- or alcohol-related driving convictions or probation/diversion.
• Must pass an English assessment before interview.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and trains for safety and readiness.
• Couple/uncouple, operate remote control locomotives, and communicate with crews.
• Maintain records and follow FRA rules and railroad regulations.
• Be prepared to work in road or yard service based on seniority and bidding.
