Job summary

Union Pacific is seeking Train Crew members to support safe and timely freight movement across our network. You will train on the job and progress based on seniority and territory, with opportunities to move toward engine service over time.

In your first year you can expect earnings around $80,000, and with experience there is potential for higher earnings as you advance, along with full medical, vision, dental, life and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record in the past 36 months.
• Must pass an English assessment before the interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely movement of customers’ freight.
• Progress through a training class with classroom and on-the-job training.
• Work road or yard service based on seniority and territory.
• Communicate effectively with crews, yard controllers, and dispatchers.
