Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment.

Under supervision, you will troubleshoot issues, complete fleet maintenance to meet company standards, and support the Technician Career Advancement program. The role requires 2+ years in trailer maintenance, ability to work outdoors, and willingness to cover multiple shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in semi-trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in DOT and FHWA inspections and air brakes
• Able to supply your own basic tools or purchase via toolbox program
• Willingness to work outdoors and across multiple shifts including nights/weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on trailer equipment per specifications
• Troubleshoot trailer issues and complete work orders
• Assist with onboarding trainee technicians
• Participate in OE training for repairs
• Follow shop safety procedures and communicate with team and customers
