Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on trailers and related equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, complete fleet maintenance, and help ensure our equipment meets company standards.

A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for a limited time. Shift is Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with 2 years of semi-trailer maintenance/repair experience or equivalent.
• Experience with DOT/FHWA inspections and air brakes preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in the elements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and standard repairs on trailer equipment per SRT and manufacturer specs.
• Troubleshoot trailer issues and complete work orders per company guidelines.
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring trailer technician trainees.
• Participate in OE training for repairs and maintain shop safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with J.B. Hunt personnel and customers.
