Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. seeks a Trailer Mechanic to perform intermediate maintenance and repair on trailers and related equipment.

You will troubleshoot issues, complete work orders, and ensure compliance with company and OEM standards. Requirements include 2+ years in semi-trailer maintenance and at least 1 year in DOT and FHWA inspections, with the ability to work outdoors and across shifts. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for a limited time, with comprehensive benefits for full-time

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with 2 years of semi-trailer maintenance/repair experience or equivalent education/experience
• At least 1 year of experience in DOT/FHWA inspections and air brakes
• Willingness to work outdoors and across multiple shifts including nights/weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on trailer equipment per company standards
• Troubleshoot issues and complete work orders with OEM specifications
• Assist with onboarding trainees and participate in OE training
• Maintain safe, professional communication with customers and staff
