Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance, service and repair on trailers and other equipment. Under routine supervision, you will troubleshoot issues and complete fleet maintenance to ensure our equipment meets J.B.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with 2 years semi-trailer maintenance experience or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in DOT inspections, FHWA inspections, and air brakes
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements
• Able to work across multiple shifts, including nights/weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer equipment per specifications
• Troubleshoot trailer issues and complete work orders with standard repair times
• Assist with onboarding and mentorship of trailer technician trainees
• Participate in Original Equipment Manufacturer training for OE repairs
• Follow all shop safety procedures
• Maintain professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers
