Job summary

Schneider is hiring a Trailer Technician in Indianapolis, IN, with a third-shift schedule (Wednesday-Friday and every other weekend, 6:30 p.m.–5:00 a.m.). You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on company trailers, and use maintenance software to track work orders.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree or 1 year of trailer tech experience, basic welding skills, and proficiency with diagnostic software.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
