Job summary

Schneider National in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Trailer Technician to perform major and minor repairs on company trailers, intermodal chassis and containers. You will diagnose issues, repair electrical systems, and communicate progress with internal customers.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, hands-on welding/diagnostic skills, and the ability to provide your own tools within 30 days. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

• Mastery of various diesel technician tools, including hand and power tools, cutting and welding torches, frame and body straightening equipment, etc.


• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.


• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
