Job summary

Schneider in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Trailer Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on company trailers, ensuring reliability and safety. The role involves working third shift, 3 p.m.–5 a.m., with full-time schedule on Wednesdays, Fridays, and alternating weekends.

You will use maintenance software to track work orders and communicate progress to internal customers, while applying basic welding and diagnostic skills to support maintenance decisions.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems or 1 year trailer technician experience.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

• Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working 50% or greater of the daily shift time between 3 p.m. and 5 a.m. local time, receive a $1.50 per hour differential for hours worked.
• Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working weekend hours, receive an additional $0.65 per hour differential for hours worked. (Weekend hours worked between 9pm Friday – 5am Monday).
