Job summary

Quality Repair Solutions (QRS) seeks an energetic Trailer Mechanic in Memphis, TN. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on semi-truck trailers and tractors, following DOT, federal and state regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities include inspections, component repairs, parts research, and accurate maintenance logging. Be prepared to work from a service truck while adhering to safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• DOT HM-183 certification, training or experience (3 years min).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair tractors and trailers.
• Perform HM-183 inspections on tankers as required.
• Ensure equipment meets FHWA standards.
• Operate a yard hostler to move trailers.
• Order and receive parts as needed.
• Follow OSHA and environmental policies for safety.
