Quality Carriers, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a capable Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain semi-truck trailers and tractors.
You will perform brake work, tire replacements, electrical troubleshooting, and basic structural repairs from a service truck while following DOT and safety regulations. The role requires 1+ year of relevant experience, welding skills (R-Stamp, 2G/3G/4G), and knowledge of diesel/electrical systems.

Compensation and Incentives
Responsible for diagnosing, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on semi-truck trailers and tractors, including tasks like brake adjustments, tire replacements, electrical troubleshooting, basic structural repairs, and more, all while working out of a service truck and adhering to strict safety regulations; general repairs on tractor and trailer units in accordance with DOT, federal and state regulations and company standards. Uses technical publications or automated systems in maintaining vehicles to prescribed manufacturers’ maintenance schedules and for researching parts. Properly annotates all maintenance and labor performed in maintenance management software.

High School or better.
Must possess at least 1 year of experience with general knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance, DOT rules and regulations, company policies and procedures.
Must possess at least 1 year of experience with general knowledge of equipment theory, principles and repair relating to diesel engines, air, and electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
