Job summary

Quality Repair Solutions (QRS)® is seeking an energetic Trailer Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on semi-truck trailers and tractors from a service truck, in Robstown, TX. You will work under safety regulations and use manufacturer maintenance schedules to guide repairs, documenting work in our management system.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, familiarity with diesel systems, electrical and hydraulic components, and DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in tractor and trailer maintenance, diesel systems, and related mechanical/electrical knowledge.
• Ability to work with DOT rules and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair tractors and trailers.
• Perform annual/90-day inspections on trailers as required.
• Ensure equipment meets FHWA and DOT standards.
• Operate a yard hostler to move trailers within the facility.
• Identify parts and supplies as needed.
• Follow OSHA safety and environmental policies.
