Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate sales team activities
• Work with manufacturers to place purchase orders and reorder new trailer loads
• Organize the yard from trailer delivery, assembly when needed, and placement
• Grow knowledge of trailers, typical equipment uses, and industry competitive landscape
• Build and form relationships with potential clients such as landscapers, construction companies, and local governments
• Administer trailer loading on the website and dealer management system, prepare and send quotes, process customer paperwork, and assist in third‑party financing processes
• Move and unload trailers on delivery days, hook up trailers to customers at the time of sale, fit spare tires and wheels, and work with other location sales and service personnel

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field (equipment sales a plus)
• Strong negotiation skills and experience working with a wide range of customers
• IT skills (POS, MS Office/365, email, inventory management)
• Fast learner, even if not coming from the trailer industry
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to work well with others
• Ability/desire to drive a tractor and forklift
• Ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients
• Spanish speaking a plus
• High school diploma minimum; college education a plus
