Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience and/or completion of trade school, or equivalent education/experience
• Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment
• Must have own tools
• Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs. and work in awkward positions

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on trailers
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and service equipment
• Conduct safety inspections and prepare FMCSA-related safety documents
• Interpret work orders and manuals; ensure work meets specifications and regulations
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with standards
