Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Minimum one-year experience or trade school completion.
• Must able to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Must have own tools.
• Must know general repairs and PM criteria.
• Must read and follow manuals and work orders.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and preventive maintenance of trailers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and FMCSA documentation.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace defective parts and systems.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and compliance.
• Attend to other duties as assigned; flexible schedule.
