Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
Must be 17+ years of age.
1+ year experience or trade school; or equivalent education/experience.
Must know general repairs and PM criteria.
Must have own tools.
Must be able to read and follow safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

Repairs and preventive maintenance of trailers.
Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain equipment.
Perform safety inspections and prepare FMCSA safety documents.
Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
Repair or replace defective parts or systems.
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and compliance with specs and regulations.
Regular attendance is required.
