Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in Corsicana, TX is seeking an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. This full-time role requires self-motivation, safety-mindedness and effective communication with customers and co-workers.

The position offers daytime hours, a pay rate of $24-$30 per hour, quarterly safety and performance bonuses after 90 days, paid holidays and vacations, a 401(k) after 1 year, and overtime after 40

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Trailer Mechanic.
• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

About the Job

A successful candidate for this position must be an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic or an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

• $24-$30/hour - commensurate with experience.
• Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.
• Monday-Friday - DAYS!
• Paid holidays and vacations time.
• 401(k) after 1 year.
• Overtime after 40 hours. Bi-weekly paychecks.
