RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic for mobile service work. You will diagnose and repair semi-trailer systems and communicate effectively with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced field role.

We prefer 5+ years of experience, an active driver’s license, ability to pass DOT physical, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Starting pay is $24-$32/hour, with quarterly bonuses after 90 days, plus paid holidays, 401(k) after 1 year, overtime after 40

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, including ABS, frames, bodies, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Operate the mobile Service Truck professionally and safely.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.

About The Job

A successful candidate for this position would be an experienced Trailer Mechanic (5 years or more preferred), with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, enjoys mobile service truck work and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

Requirements

• Experience required. 5 years or more experience strongly preferred.
• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
