Job summary

Imperial Dade in Orlando is seeking a Trailer Driver Class A Delivery Driver to manage a daily route and deliver merchandise to customer locations, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

The role requires loading/unloading via hand, pallet jack, and lift gate, as well as maintaining accurate vehicle logs and a positive communication style with customers. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am until finish.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license required.
• Must pass DOT Medical Exam and have a good driving record.
• 1 year of recent CDL A experience and 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate a lift gate.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 53’ truck or smaller on a daily route.
• Load and unload cargo via hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Track and document activity log accurately.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch promptly.
• Inspect the truck before and after trips.
• Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude.

The Trailer Driver Class A Delivery Driverwill be responsible for a route of daily stops. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6:00 am until finish

You will:

• Safely operate a 53’ truck or smaller
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after trips
• Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL A experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Lift gate experience
