Job summary

Imperial Dade in Hazelwood, MO is looking for a Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver to run a daily route, unload using a pallet jack and lift gate, and deliver to customer locations with outstanding service.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm (or until the route is completed), with no weekends. Routes are a mix of local and regional across MO, KY, TN and IL, with about one overnight per week.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT medical exam and have a good driving history.
• At least 1 year of CDL A experience.
• At least 1 year of route delivery experience.
• At least 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 53’ truck or smaller on assigned routes.
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jack and lift gate.
• Accurately track and document activity logs.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect truck prior to and after trips.
• Maintain positive communication with customers.

The Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of daily stops. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, or until the daily route is completed. NO WEEKENDS!

The routes are a mix between regional and local throughout Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Illinois 1 night a week. There are No Chicago routes.

You will:

• Safely operate a 53’ truck or smaller
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after trips
• Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL A experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Lift gate experience
• Strong work ethic
