Job summary

Imperial Dade has a Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver role available in Hazelwood, MO. The position involves a daily route with on-site driving, loading and unloading using pallet jacks and lift gates, and delivering to customer locations while providing excellent service.

The schedule is Monday–Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, or until the route is completed. Must possess CDL A, pass a DOT medical exam, and maintain a good driving record.

Qualifications

• A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL A).
• Must pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• Good driving record.
• 1 year of recent CDL A experience.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds).
• Lift gate experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 53’ truck or smaller.
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Properly track and document activity log.
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after trips.
• Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude.

The Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driverwill be responsible for a route of daily stops. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering and providing exceptional customer service.
