Job summary

The City of Richmond seeks a Maintenance Technician (Trails) to maintain and repair parks, facilities, and equipment. You will operate light and heavy equipment, perform routine maintenance, and keep detailed records.

You’ll support park guests with information and contribute to safety and cleanliness across recreational spaces. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or specialized vocational training.
• Two years of maintenance experience related to assignment.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience may be used.

Responsibilities

• Operating heavy equipment, power and hand tools.
• Maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and facilities.
• Maintain records and inventory; prepare reports.
• Assist park guests with information and directions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
