Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of combined experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and/or groundskeeping or equivalent.
• Must possess or obtain within nine months of employment a Registered Technician Pesticide License.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and operational tasks to support facilities, events, athletic fields and grounds.
• Assists with carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical and small construction projects.
• Operates and maintains general trade equipment and power tools.
• Supports department events, including setup and breakdown.
• Works in outdoor conditions performing physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting, walking and prolonged standing.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers, contractors and team members.
• Communicates effectively.
• Performs other work as required.
