Job summary

SWARCO McCain, Inc is hiring Assemblers to join our Otay Mesa manufacturing facility in San Diego, CA. You will assemble and install traffic signals and signs per work orders, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings, ensuring quality and compliance with procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of related training or experience, ability to read technical documents, operate hand and power tools, and safely use a pallet jack.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six months of training or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with LED systems is helpful.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Able to operate hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble traffic signals, signs, and related components per work orders and drawings.
• Route and secure wires through conduits and enclosures.
• Perform equipment change-overs and quality checks.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Complete daily production logs and operate a pallet jack to move materials.
