This position involves installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing wiring, signal heads, controllers, vehicle detectors, solid state components, digital signal equipment, and special illuminations related to traffic signals. Responsibilities include assisting in the design, construction, and modification of special control and test equipment for traffic signal repair; training semiskilled workers and apprentices; driving and operating City vehicles; making daily work reports; keeping accurate records; testifying in court and giving depositions; and performing other duties as assigned.
