Job summary

SWARCO McCain, Inc. seeks an experienced Signal Specialist Engineer to act as the technical and product expert for the signal product portfolio, guiding design, development, configuration, and documentation.

You will work cross-functionally with manufacturing, testing, sales, planning, and vendors to ensure customer, regulatory, and business requirements are met, and to deliver quality products to market. The role emphasizes lifecycle support, documentation upkeep, and collaboration with DOT/APL

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2+ years engineering or product-related experience preferred.
• Experience with traffic signal/ITS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical/resource lead for signal products.
• Review specs and determine product compliance and configurations.
• Provide cross-functional product support to manufacturing, testing, sales, and planning.
• Coordinate ECNs and changes to drawings and BOMs.
• Support product testing, qualification, and continuous improvement.
