SWARCO ITS in Otay Mesa, San Diego, is hiring Assemblers to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble and install signal and sign components per blueprints and wiring tables, route wires, and perform equipment changes. This role requires reading technical drawings and adhering to safety procedures.

Additional duties include quality control, using a range of hand and power tools, operating a pallet jack, and maintaining daily production logs. Travel to training in Tijuana may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of related training/experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to travel to Tijuana, Mexico for training.

Responsabilités

• Assemble traffic signals, signs, and related components per work orders and drawings.
• Route and secure wires through conduit and enclosures.
• Perform equipment change-overs and quality checks to keep products within specs.
• Use hand and power tools safely to assemble parts and sub-assemblies.
• Operate a pallet jack to move materials and finished goods in the warehouse.
• Complete daily production logs and maintain a clean, safe work area.
